The Cobalt RaQ Linux implementation is as secure as any commercial Unix implementation on the market today. Linux was developed with publicly reviewable source code, and as such, has been subjected to a tremendous amount of security testing by various large companies such as IBM, SGI, and Corel. In our opinion, as a provider of Internet services, we believe that Linux is much more secure that Windows NT and is far easier to manage using the Cobalt RaQ systems web enabled administrator. The Cobalt Web Administrator is a web based GUI (graphical user interface) and is not only password protected, but encrypted as well. Cobalt has taken many steps at making their products as secure as any other Enterprise Class web server. Granted, no system is infallible to a hacker attack, but the chances of your system being compromised is very slim.

Once the certificate is signed, it will also used be used for secure Administration as well as the main site. Please contact our Administrators if you need help getting a Secure Certificate.
